After turning On the ads, you have to click <> Get Code button. You have to select and copy all code. Place this ad code in the <head> tag (or just after the opening of the <body>) in the Edit HTML Template in blogger. One tag for whole site, and you won’t need to change it even if you adjust your Page level ads settings.

Error parsing XML

If you just copy and paste the code in the <head>tag, you will face one error-

“Error parsing XML, line 5, column 15: Attribute name “async” associated with an element type “script” must be followed by the ‘ = ‘ character.”

Solution of Error parsing XML

To resolve this error, you have to write async=”async” in place of async. Then save the Template.(See the picture below)

Test Page level ads with the preview tool

To check that the Page Level ads are working or not you have to use one mobile or smartphone. (I prefer Google Chrome Browser)

  1. On a mobile device, visit the page where you want to test Page level ads.
  2. In the address bar of your mobile browser, add #googleads to the end of your page’s URL. For example, abcd.blogspot.com#googleads
  3. Select the ad format that you want to test.
  4. Check the results of the test on your device.
  5. For vignettes, the preview tool highlights all links on your page that can show a vignette ad. Click any of these links to test your vignettes. Note that the preview tool won’t highlight any links that contain a “stop” word. AdSense has a list of “stop” words that are typically navigation related, such as “Log out”, for which vignette ads aren’t shown.

Note: If placing the code in the <Head> tag not working then I will recommend you to place the code just after the starting of <body> tag. But keep in mind that this code should open first.

Note: Page level ads work with Android versions greater than 3.0 or iOS versions greater than 4.0 devices and don’t count towards the ads per page policy limit. This means you can place the limit of ads on one page as defined in the Ad Exchange program guidelines, as well as one additional Page-level ad.
